She has always had a fascination with the way we form connections across borders. When she started working in other countries for Accenture and Deloitte, and managed teams with people from all over the world, she became even more interested in how different cultures affected how people did business and worked together. She found out by harsh experience that it is really worth paying attention to “all this language and cultural stuff” if you want to make things happen. She is now one of the world’s leading experts on how to grow your business globally through digital strategies.

About 15 years ago, she founded Grow Global to help businesses take full advantage of the global opportunity there is to grow using digital strategies. She has worked with over 1,500 companies on a one-to-one basis and trained over 10,000 delegates from across the globe in her webinars, seminars and workshops. She has developed a failsafe 6-step method to make this happen. In 2018, she published Grow Fast, Grow Global, an Amazon UK #1 bestseller which focuses on how to drive online sales throughout the world to get unstoppable international growth.
Everyone deserves a digital livelihood
Sarah is now following her passion to transfer her e-knowledge and skills to coaches and SMEs in the economically developing world for the United Nations (UN) and other international development agencies. She has been running e-commerce training and coaching programmes in 15 countries in Africa and the Middle East, from Kigali in Rwanda to Marrakesh in Morocco, especially for women entrepreneurs.
Working with nations, international development and trade promotion agencies, development banks and NGOs, she has a wider reach and faster impact across the world, generating more international leads and sales for businesses, raising digital skills and increasing employment. She started a new venture Deserve Digital in 2023 to support international development agencies to run programmes to ensure everyone has a digital livelihood.

Sarah is the author of the audio language and cultural learning courses: Teach Yourself Business French, Teach yourself Business Spanish, Teach Yourself Business Japanese and Teach Yourself Business Mandarin Chinese. These were published by Hodder Education and have sold over 10,000 copies globally.
Sarah just loves learning languages and is very concerned about language death of some of the most vulnerable languages on the globe, which is occurring at a faster rate than the loss of plants and animals in the world. Just maybe, keeping the younger generations in their communities by engaging in digital commerce could keep these languages and cultures surviving a little longer.
Sarah has lived and worked in Africa, Middle East, Europe and the USA. She speaks English and French, some German and is learning Spanish in recognition of its emerging role and one of the next world languages. If she goes on to learn Mandarin Chinese, which is her dream, she calculates she will be able to speak to over 50% of the world’s population in one of their official languages!
